Windhoek is the Capital of Namibia. Windhoek or Windhuk is located in central Namibia at 1,600 metres (5,245 ft) above sea level in the Khomas Highland plateau area. Nama, Herero, German, African and British cultures have affected Windhoek, the influence of Imperial German colonization is still present in language, architecture and restaurants. There's even the famous Oktoberfest.
